I was a Cabin Leader, member of the Maintenance Crew at Boys’ Camp, and on the Kitchen Crew at Family Camp.
How were you introduced to Takodah?
My family has been involved with Takodah for many years, and my siblings and I all attended camp as kids.
Did you attend college and, if so, where and what did you study?
Yes, I attended Smith College and studied German Cultural Studies and International Relations.
What do you do for work?
I work as an Investment Advisor Oversight.
What moment in your career are you most proud of?
My career is not one I ever would have expected ending up in, but I’ve been successful in it.
Did your time at Takodah influence your career? If so, how?
Takodah taught me leadership and team building, which has been integral over the years.
Are there any skills or traits that you gained at Takodah which you use in your professional life?
Takodah taught me to work with other people, be creative and have fun when you can.
Are there any specific memories from your time at Takodah that are still impactful to you?
I still remember the feeling of coming down the camp road on Opening Day, the butterflies never went away, even as an adult I feel them a little when I come to visit.
