Girls Camp

Ages 8-15

Kids are bombarded by the media — internet, TV, movies, and video games. Each of these outlets tells them that worth is determined by appearance. When stacking up seems impossible, they start feeling anxious and insecure. That’s why the Girls Camp experience has never been so important. We break down stereotypes, forget about appearances, and free kids to be themselves. Without the social pressures of being in a co-ed environment, they can explore who they really are and what they can achieve. Focused on friendships instead of the need to impress others, they can develop deeper and stronger bonds. Guided by strong role models, they can become a leader in their own right, while growing more independent, confident, and assertive. We live in a co-ed world, but a couple of weeks at Takodah is exactly what your child needs.
