Saying Farewell to Executive Director Artie Lang

Arthur Lang will be departing as the Executive Director and CEO of the Takodah YMCA on September 20, 2022, after seven years with our organization.

Mr. Lang’s leadership during that time enabled the Takodah YMCA to grow year-over-year. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Lang carefully guided the Y through our first shutdown in 105 years and then ensured that we reopened stronger than ever and as soon as possible. He has positioned our YMCA to efficiently consolidate our resources in the reality of today’s challenging economy and limited supply chains. As a result, our YMCA can continue to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social responsibility.

We thank Mr. Lang for his service and wish him the best of luck in the future.
