Camp Takodah
Our oldest and most popular programs, Girls and Boys Camps at Takodah offer a classic summer camp experience. Kids come from all over the US and beyond to be a part of our two and four-week sessions. Here kids get to choose from the full gamut of activities, live Takodahs Friendly to All way of life, and build friendships that can last a lifetime!
For any child already comfortable choosing their own activities, making friends, and staying away from home for more than a few nights, Boys' or Girls' Camp is the best choice. The two-week time frame gives campers enough time to learn their way around camp, make friends, and still have time to enjoy them fully.
Many of our campers come back to a two-week session for years and years, setting their sights on Takodahs greatest honor, the ten-year jacket. Over the years, our campers develop friendships with a special integrity thats hard to find away from camp. Part of whats so great about coming back to camp is the chance to revisit these exceptional friendships. Yet the Friendly to All way of life makes certain that new Takodians are welcomed and never feel left out.
