That’s why we offer Camp Takodah Information Sessions, camp tours, open houses, and opportunities to connect with other Takodah families through camper meetups. If you’d prefer to talk one-on-one, our Camp Director would love to connect anytime.

With a long, cold winter ahead, we’re planning plenty of chances to stay connected with camp friends all year long. Check out the Camper Meetups we have scheduled for 2026 below!
These events are perfect for new campers who want a first taste of Takodah and returning campers who can’t wait to reconnect. Even better: bring a friend (or two!)—a classmate, neighbor, cousin, or the whole crew—so they can meet campers, play games, and start getting to know the Takodah community.
Takodah staff will be at every meetup leading fun activities for campers and chatting with adults about camp. We just ask that each camper group has an adult stay with them for the event.
Winter Reunion | January 10th 11am-3pm
Join us for our annual Winter Reunion, at camp to kick off the new year with camp friends, activities, lunch, and s’mores! This is a great time to bring a friend to camp, show your family around camp, and just have a great time. New to Takodah? Join us for the day to meet the community, tour camp, and do fun camp activities.
Camper Meet Up – Team Works Acton | February 7th 4-7pm
Who doesn’t get a little cabin fever each winter? That’s why we’ve set up a camper meet up at Team Works in Acton, MA where we can run around on the turf and play big camp games together! Not to mention we will have pizza to share.
Camper Meet Up – Keene Family YMCA | March 15th 1-4pm
Our friends at the Keene Family YMCA are letting us use their heated pool, basketball courts, and gymnastics area to burn off some of that winter energy while we wait for camp to thaw!
If you’re wondering whether Takodah is the right place for your camper, our Camp Director would love to connect. Sarah has spent more than 20 summers at camp—starting as a kid on the shores of Cass Pond—and has worked her way through many roles before leading camps for over a decade. She’s passionate about giving kids the chance to unplug, grow in nature, make true friends, and try new things. Ask anything—she’s happy to help you feel confident in your decision.
