Management Trainee (18 month contract)
The Takodah YMCA Management Trainee Program is a dynamic, hands-on learning experience for recent college graduates interested in pursuing a career in nonprofit leadership, youth development, recreation, or operations management. This immersive program offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Takodah YMCA’s leadership team to gain a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to manage and operate a mission-driven organization and a nationally recognized summer camp.
Trainees will take on senior leadership roles at summer camp. During the school year, they will rotate through various departments, such as facilities, development, admin, and program. Throughout the year, they will contribute meaningfully to daily operations, program planning, and strategic initiatives. The Management Trainee program is designed to strengthen leadership, communication, project management, and nonprofit operational skills, preparing participants for future careers in the nonprofit, camp, education, or recreation sectors.
