Located on 500 acres of pristine forest and open fields along the shores of Cass Pond in Richmond, NH, Takodah provides a premier outdoor learning adventure.  Living at camp is charmingly rustic, yet comfortable.  Beautiful lodges, a state-of-the-art dining hall, and indoor program spaces integrate well with our natural setting.  Opportunities for recreation during free times are plentiful with basketball, tennis, four-square, soccer, and softball spaces all available.

Camp Takodah offers a variety of facilities for use even into the cold autumn months.  Many of our buildings are equipped with modern bathrooms, kitchens, heat, and woodstoves.  We're proud to offer a variety of open indoor spaces for group meetings, games, and worship, as well as all the standard facilities.

Cabins: 23 Rustic cabins line the dirt road surrounding Takodah's main campus.  All cabins are equipped with electricity and bunk beds sleeping 10-20 people.  Four insulated cabins are available during the chilly months; one equipped with a self-contained heating system. Cabins are clustered around 3 separate bathhouses to allow for gender separation.

Bathhouses: Camp Takodah's bathrooms may resemble those you'd see at a campground or conference facility, but you'll never have to worry about their cleanliness! Our maintenance director keeps our bathrooms in tip top shape to keep you comfortable.  Each bathhouse includes 6-10 hot showers, 10-12 toilet stalls, and trough-style sinks for sharing and promoting healthy habits like teeth-brushing and hand-washing.

Dining Hall: Our state-of-the-art dining hall was constructed in 1999.  It features ample seating space, modern bathrooms, an industrial kitchen, and both heat and a rustic fireplace.

Friendship Lodge: Friendship Lodge provides a comfortable living space for our staff in the summer, and for groups like yours in the shoulder seasons.  3 bedrooms can sleep up to 18 people on bunk beds; a large common area, kitchen, and two bathrooms with showers make this winterized building feel like home.

Memorial Lodge: Memorial Lodge is one of Takodah's most beautiful and simple facilities.  Located along our waterfront, this big open space features a porch and fireplace.

Waterfront: Takodah is proud to offer one of New England's best waterfronts. Sandy beaches, a sectioned-off swimming area, canoes, rowboats, and kayaks are all available for your use, weather permitting.

Ropes Course: Our extensive challenge ropes course includes 9 dynamic high elements, 10 low elements, 70-foot zip-line, and a 43-foot multi-sided climbing tower to challenge the individual or challenge the group.  We foster a safe learning environment by endorsing the Challenge by Choice philosophy.   Students have the choice to move beyond their physical and social comfort zones while feeling respected for their ideas, needs, differences, and choices.
