Today was another day that the weather was confused. We had spouts of sunshine without a cloud in sight, and then we would get hit with a torrential downpour, which would clear up within minutes. The girls used the extra indoors time to work on things like songs, puzzles, and purchase items from the camp store. The rain manag
ed to hold off until the end of free time, but it rained out activities during Cabin Activity. The ladies took out their extra energy in the dining hall, with their voices loud and energetic during clearing.
Tonight is the beginning of a two night ordeal that is how we wrap up our time here at Camp Takodah. Our first night, tonight, is CT ceremony and is when the girls will each receive their own CTs. The CTs are small, inverted triangles of felt that have a "CT" on them and a number to signify how many years they have been coming to two-week camp. During this ceremony we also give out 10 yr jackets. Tonight, Kristen LaPlante and Hayley Didrickson will be receiving their own 10 yr jackets!
