Sundays are a lower energy day, its more a day for reflection rather than fun and games out in the fields. Sunday is a day where we have a ceremony known as chapel, which is a non-denomination time for the campers, as well as leaders, to sit back and think about the week(s) that they have already spent at Takodah, to reflect on their experiences and to gather their energy and mindset for the following week(s).
Tonight's evening program, to accompany our traditional day for rest and reflection, is Takodah Tradition! This is when the campers will travel amidst their divisions amongst 3 stations; A field, for games and mattress somersaulting, Hobby Nook, for an awesome, rigorous dance party, and the Dining Hall, where there is Takodah Jeopardy and Early Bird T Shirt designing! Throughout the night they will be learning about the different areas around camp and what role they have played during Takodian history.
