Today started off really well, with a few small, puffy clouds in the sky, and then turned into a slew of rain just     as Siesta was to end.  This dampened our Blue and White day festivities.  Blue and White day is a time when all the odd numbered cabins and all the even numbered cabins are each on their own team and throughout the day they battle it out for points to determine the winning team.  These battles will determine the winning cabins for the entire day.

It would have been an amazing day of fun in the sun, however we were hit with a rain shower just as siesta ended and the cabins were beginning to organize on the field.  Therefore, instead of fun field day, we had a Backwards Auction!  This is a time when each cabin brings a pillowcase full of anything they want, mostly items that are good for camp, such as water bottles, Stuffed animals, Frisbees etc.  Tonight’s evening program is Takodah Cinemas!  We host a full camp movie down in the dining hall.  Tonight’s movie is Mary Poppins, a classic family movie.
