Literally, the girls are off and running all over the place. Yesterday all of the campers signed up for their first week of classes, ranging from taking on our many ropes course challenges to learning new ways to paint in the Hobby Nook to trying out a new sport like speedball. Today the girls are beginning their classes and are having a blast. And while the temperature may be cool the sun is shining bright with barely a cloud in the sky to keep us warm. Last night girls camp separated into their divisions for Division Night, where the spent the evening playing and bonding with each other. The Cherokees went on a scavenger hunt to find the words to their division song. The Monads played a classic camp game called Anything Ball, which as the name suggests is like playing Baseball with anything and everything you can get your hands on, then where taught their song around the camp fire. The Penacooks had a wild time with a Dodge ball tournament, capped off with a leader vs. camper game, and afterwards they completed a camp tradition by squeezing the entire division into Cabin T to learn their song. The Iroquois split up for the night as the LITs have already moved into cabins for day stays and the Leader Corp headed out of camp on an adventurous overnight.
